Description
A13O0164: An Ontario Provincial Police Aeryon Scout (Ver 0.5) UAV was operating 1.5 nm SW of Baxter, ON as part of a police investigation.
During the climb phase the vehicle experienced a mechanical failure. A motor arm separated from the UAV and the craft fell 139 feet onto a road surface below.
There were no injuries. The unit was destroyed. The vehicle has been sent to the manufacturer for inspection and analysis.

Structural failure.
