Description
Flying the DJI Mavic about 3,400 feet out at an elevation of 1000 feet msl shooting video of point 3 of volcano lava flow. A rain shower came so I started returning home. I was descending on my return. All of a sudden the drone started descending and spinning out of control until the aircraft hit the ground.
