Description
Following incident with UAS – FA3PRRR7H4F , decision was made to change aircraft system to complete missions in the Lake Vermillion area. Aircraft {UAS} had 17 satellites and full RSSI upon takeoff. Pilot took aircraft off and attempted to preform 20 20 check. Aircraft then went into manual mode, responded briefly to controls and then did not respond to any control input immediately after. Solo went towards VO and Pilot at a fair rate of speed without control and then skidded sideways across concrete boat ramp without response to control input. Pilot followed aircraft attempting AB pause and any control input possible. Finally aircraft while stuck in vegetation and pilot 2 ft away responded and shut off. prior to flight sectionals were reviewed and PASP was in place. 12 degrees of magnetic disturbance was noted on sectional and previous incident with FA3PRR7H4F leads pilot to feel both aircraft were severely affected by environmental concerns {massive Iron ore and magnetic deposits in area}.
