Description
During initial climb, the remotely piloted aircraft’s (RPA) GPS failed to engage resulting in the positive climb rate ceasing. The operator subsequently conducted an emergency parachute deployment for landing.
Reported Cause
It is suspected the global navigational satellite system circuit board was dislodged during take-off resulting a loss of power to the GPS.
